Prelude Music Classes Health & Safety Guidelines
We are committed to doing our best to mitigate the risks associated with COVID 19 by reducing our class size, practicing social distancing, enhancing sanitation, and installing germicidal UV lights and air purifiers in our ventilation. The mental and emotional well-being of the families who attend our classes are just as important. We will continue to spread peace, love, and joy through family music-making and community-building activities. One of the many things the pandemic has taught us is how much we need each other. Social interaction is necessary for everyone’s mental and emotional well-being.
- Stay home if you have any flu-like symptoms, even if you think it’s allergies. Please refrain from attending class if you’ve been diagnosed with the Coronavirus, or if you or your children have been in close proximity to someone who has been diagnosed. Notify the office if you or anyone in your immediate family has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
- Wash your hands before and after class! A sanitizing station will be available.
- No food (except baby milk) in our studios.
- Our Montessori-inspired play room is open at our Houston studio! As we continue to make music and play together indoors, it is important that we do our best to make everyone feel welcome. Therefore, while masks are not required in the lobby, we encourage all adults to mask when in the lobby/playroom if they feel comfortable doing so.
Music is a universal language. It transcends boundaries and reaches beyond culture to touch the depths of our souls, express our common emotions, and inspire us all. Now serving 2,500 communities in over 40 countries, Music Together® connects families and communities across the globe as they express and explore our basic human instinct for making music.
