We believe that music-making is for everyone!

Celebrate Prelude Music Foundation's Tenth Anniversary!

After years of teaching Music Together® classes to thousands of Houston families, Prelude Music Classes co-directors Ana Treviño-Godfrey and Jonathan Godfrey wanted to bring the same research-based music and movement program into some of Houston's most underserved communities. In 2014, they founded their sister organization, the Prelude Music Foundation, with the goal of transforming the lives and enhancing the education of children through the power of music.

In its first decade, PMF has reached more than 16,300 children in 624 classrooms at 25 sites across Houston through weekly music classes, teacher professional development, and parent education programming. They have partnered with families, teachers, school leaders, physicians, and foster parents to promote peace, love, and joy through music. We've made an enormous impact, and we can't wait to see what the next decade holds.
This December, we're celebrating PMF's tenth anniversary with Prelude Giving Day. Here's how you can help!
